Kevin S. Kaufman is a 1977 graduate of Bridgeport High School, where he received a National Merit Scholarship, a Consolidated Natural Gas Company full scholarship, and a West Virginia Achievement scholarship.Mr. Kaufman completed his education at West Virginia University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, an MBA, and his law degree. Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Kaufman accepted a position with Columbia Gas Transmission Corporation. Shortly thereafter, he was selected to work within the law department of the newly formed production branch, known as Columbia Natural Resources. In 1987, Mr. Kaufman left the Columbia system to form the Charleston law firm, Pierson & Kaufman. Mr. Kaufman remained a partner in that firm and in the successor firm of Pierson, Kaufman & Stowers, until 1992. In 1992, Mr. Kaufman returned home to North Central West Virginia and established The Law Offices of Kevin S. Kaufman, which ultimately became Kaufman & McPherson, PLLC. Mr. Kaufman and his wife, Wanda, live on a hilltop in southern Harrison County, West Virginia. When they are not working, they enjoy traveling and spending time with their grandchildren. Adam S. McPherson is a 1995 graduate of Liberty High School and a 1999 graduate of Fairmont State College, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology. Mr. McPherson began his legal education at Thomas Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan in 1999, and completed his legal education at West Virginia University where he received his law degree in May, 2002. Mr. McPherson worked as a law clerk for The Law Offices of Kevin S. Kaufman during his legal education, and became an associate of that same law firm immediately upon his admission to the bar in September 2002. Mr. McPherson primarily helps clients who have been injured as a result of an automobile accident, commercial trucking accident, or dog attack. He also handles serious workplace injury cases. Mr. McPherson, along with his wife and three children, lives in the Clarksburg area. Mr. McPherson is active in his church and is an officer and coach of Pony League baseball. Sara E. Zeigler is a 2001 graduate of Liberty High School. She has always had a strong interest in community service, and during her summer breaks, she volunteered at the AmeriCorps Energy Express Program at North View Elementary School. Ms. Zeigler is a 2005 graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a concentration in writing and a minor in psychology. She graduated magna cum laude. She continued her community service by serving as an AmeriCorps Energy Express mentor during her summer vacations. She taught reading and writing to elementary age students, many of whom came from indigent families. Ms. Zeigler attended law school at West Virginia University from 2005 until 2008. During her time at the College of Law, she was active in the Public Interest Advocates. Wanting to give back to the community that had given her so much, Ms. Zeigler participated in the Clinical Law Program for the duration of her final year of law school and assisted indigent clients. Ms. Zeigler obtained magistrate court mediator training. She also interned with the 15th Judicial Circuit Public Defender Office, continuing her public interest work. Ms. Zeigler was admitted to the West Virginia State Bar in October of 2009. She gained trial experience in her position as a public defender in the 13th Judicial Circuit in Charleston, West Virginia. Appearing daily in magistrate and circuit court on behalf of both adult and juvenile clients, Ms. Zeigler was afforded the opportunity to hone her litigation skills. In June of 2012, Ms. Zeigler returned to North Central West Virginia. She began working for Kaufman & McPherson, PLLC, in July of 2012. Ms. Zeigler primarily works in the fields of criminal, personal injury, and medical malpractice law. Ms. Zeigler and her husband live in the Clarksburg area.

Mike Selario was born and raised in Bridgeport, WV. After earning his undergraduate degree in political science at West Virginia University, Mike attended West Virginia University College of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate. While in law school, Mike was awarded the CALI Award for Intellectual Property and Antitrust Law. Prior to joining Kaufman & McPherson, Mike owned and operated the Clarksburg, West Virginia law firm Selario Law, PLLC, where he practiced general civil litigation, property law, estate law, family law and criminal law. Mike is admitted to practice in all courts in West Virginia and is currently a member of the West Virginia Association for Justice, the West Virginia Bar Association and the Harrison County Bar Association. Mike, along with his wife and two children, live in Bridgeport. When not in the office, Mike enjoys spending time with his family, hiking in the West Virginia mountains, and watching WVU sports. He is also an avid history fan, especially early American history.
